About the AULR

The AULR has been in existence since 1967. It has a proud tradition of showcasing the best undergraduate work produced at the University of Auckland law school, and is edited and published entirely by students. This combination is unique in New Zealand legal publishing. It affords us the opportunity to select and publish cutting-edge articles, case notes and commentaries on changing and controversial areas of the law. It also provides an opportunity for the brightest law students in each year to hone their legal research and writing skills as Review editors.

We publish one issue of approximately 325 pages per year. It is available in print and via the HeinOnline, Informit and Thomson Reuters databases.
